Create, buy and sell your own NFTs, and much more.

The advantages of NFTs seem to be positive: They allow artists and collectors autonomy and democratize the process of purchasing and selling artwork, and offer a new avenue for techno-savvy artists to earn an income from their expertise. Others argue that they offer opportunities for artists from underrepresented communities such as BIPOC as well as the neurodivergent artist in order to bypass many of the traditional art world's traditionally exclusionary systems.

There are, of course certain disadvantages. For one, NFT technology, enabled by smart contracts based on the renowned blockchain Ethereum is currently consuming an enormous amount of energy, calling the question of its environmental impact. There's also a looming question as to how long this hype cycle will last--and what's left when the bubble deflates (or disappears completely).

Still, there are incredible displays of creative genius currently going on in the NFT world, and a variety of NFT artists are making use of NFT technology to break boundaries, create waves and find fame.

Who are the best NFT makers of today? Below are a handful to keep on your radar.
