The

Keith Andrade of The Morning Byte

Keith Andrade, founder of The Morning Byte

"One of my hobbies is keeping myself up-to-date on all the new stuff going on in the business and tech world," starts Keith Andade who's been working in software as an service (SaaS) for the past seven years.

He attended Baruch College, a business institution located in Manhattan, and while he was there, he learned a lot about business to be in sync with his love of technological advancement. "The two are intertwined," he discovered. " The businesses of today have to depend on technology in order to succeed, to grow and scale. It was fascinating to see how these things work together."

After college he started working as a health insurance representative as well as payroll business. "Previously the only thing that was available were pen and paper, and filing cabinets. Then, the new business was completely disrupting the industry," he recalls.

In the following years, he was employed by monday.com and ones.com and sold tools for project management to corporations. "I enjoyed it. However, I discovered that in order to conduct a productive conversation with my customers I had to be able to do more than just understand technology, not only understand how their company works, but also stay up-to-date on new trends."

Keith would spend his spare time researching and collecting articles, and sending them to his family and friends. "I realized that I couldn't keep sending them articles every morning on something I think is intriguing'. Therefore, I came up with this service for news texts to provide a brief overview on what's going on." Keith created an automated system using Zapier along with ChatGPT to find interesting his favorite articles, rewrite them into concise bullets, and deliver it in text messages to the subscribers," Keith explains.

The problem with social media

"Our clients love social media. It's all about that instant gratification" Keith continues. But the problem with social media is that it winds up taking up too much of your time. There are many ways to utilize TikTok for brief news updates You could utilize Instagram and follow your preferred influencer to see a carousel image post of what's happening however the problem is that every time you open up an app it exposes you to different views and opinions that appear automatically in your newsfeed."

Keith believes that the benefit for The Morning Byte is it eliminates the intrusion of any another content that is competing for your attention. "It's an SMS message that you can open it whenever you want. This is the freedom you have again," he explains.

A few readers read the article first thing in the morning or some skim through it during lunchtime. "The concept that is you're at control of your time and attention. Social media is a place where it's up to you to be able to cut through the clutter and discover what you are looking for. Social media can be a time suckers and is a waste of your time. The time we spend is the most valuable resource we can have." Keith adds.

He continues that social media is not an incentive to improve our lives. "It's wonderful to stay connected but the purpose isn't only a way to keep in touch but to stay connected, isn't it?" he asks. "I browse my feed and all it's advertisements or it's businesses paying to post their stuff."

"I believe that social media is entertaining. It's a good thing. But I'm not sure it's the best. In my opinion, it's not helpful for our mental wellbeing. The Morning Byte is a location for people who are looking to improve their lives." The writer advises people who wish to leverage technology for success or wanting to become business owners should have sources to stay in the forefront of technology "All I'm suggesting is The Morning Byte might be your first choice!" he smiles.

Crucially, Keith uses his own product each all day. "I spend nights in the dark searching for information that is relevant due to the fact that things can happen during the evening, and I want individuals to be prepared and aware when they get started on their day. I pick valuable sources like Reuters or The New York Times. Forbes could be a good choice; The Verge is a fantastic source."

Keith notes that, even if you're a small company owner, if you have an established source of details that aren't available to a big media company, it's certainly important enough to attract The Morning Byte's attention. "If you find my article intriguing, we'll forward it to our readers - so in the sense that it's relevant!" he adds.

The ability to stay ahead

In his experience working with many companies, Keith was constantly thinking about how he could take an item he loved and turn it into a business model to monetize it, all the while offering value to the clients. Prior to coming to the idea of a business model for the Morning Byte, he noticed another customer, The New Paper, had a similar model but with a focus on political news. Keith saw an opportunity.

"I believe there is a lot of value for people working in technology. Realtors and other professionals are interested in understanding the way that AI technology impacts their lives." Keith thought he could assist them in staying on top of their game. "If you're a podcaster, it's like, 'Do I require the latest microphone?' or 'Is there a tool that can help me make my voice sound crisp What are the questions people ask themselves because there's a new AI software being released every single day."

I work in tech and I'm constantly challenged to win sales and gain businesses." When The New Paper focuses on politics, The Morning Byte focuses on finance tech, electric cars, machine learning, and artificial intelligence."

Understandably enough, Keith's subscribers are business and tech owners, with very little time. "It's difficult to keep up with the latest technology and confusion. The information on my site is accurate. I have highlights from the pieces. There is no need to read through the entire article and you only get the points, so you can be able to understand the situation. It looks like Keith's journey is complete, from a user needing details, then a buyer of his own product, and finally, a founding member of a company that collects data to help others. It's one thing keeping up to date, but, as Keith is aware, being ahead of the game is a different ball game. But there are services out available to assist you.
