I'm a big admirer of the character Mr. Rogers and always wanted in the way I could assist people in some way. It led me into 20 years in customer support in which I help assist, help troubleshoot and cheer our customers on!

After a suggestion from a friend that I discovered the place , and 6 years later--never ever looked back. If I'm not busy helping clients or serving food, I'm seeking out the latest hidden gem or plotting my next adventure with my family--with a cup of coffee on one side with a bite to eat on the other.
What is your typical day job in the company you work at?
Every day, is a new, exciting experience! I am able to assist our customers across the world and troubleshoot the issues they face. If it's educating them on our membership features or untangling the complexities of a problem I'm happy to be here and can make things easier for them.

With AI being a more effective communication tool, I focus on keeping our support human--building real connections, actively pursuing the needs of their clients, and making sure that everyone is understood, supported and determined to be successful.
Relive one of your most memorable interactions with our (potential) clients - what problem or question they asked and the way you resolved it.
One of our customers wanted to provide a promotion to members that does not exist out of the box. Instead of saying "no," (we do our best not to) I found a creative solution by using our API.
The custom solution met the needs of their customers and performed flawlessly! We were all thrilled with the result, turning the challenge into an opportunity.
What do you think does it take to make a successful membership business?
I think keeping your subscribers interested is essential to creating a successful subscription business. If creators truly engage with their subscribers and their members, it's not the mere transaction of money. It's about creating a space where members feel they are part of some sort of community.

What have you learnt in your studies ?
Effective communication is key in customer support whether face-to-face or online. While online support may appear easier, picking an inappropriate tone or unclear wording can quickly cause customer frustration.
This is why our PREACH communication model (Proud Reliable, Honest empathic, articulate, Concise, Human) is essential when helping each customer.

I am truly grateful for working with my team of support since everyone is a model of the qualities they display in their interactions with customers. My biggest takeaway? Great communication is a skill which you develop with time and the willingness to learn from mistakes.
What are three suggestions you would suggest to someone from your field or department?
Three suggestions for satisfaction with customer support:
- If you have questions, ask more questions to better understand your customer's needs and get to the root of the issue.
- Make sure to follow up on a regular basis If you do not hear from us. Customers appreciate your effort to follow through as everyone's working.
- Keep your promises. Keeping the promises you made to customers increases trust and provides longevity of satisfaction. It was said you'd contact them at a specific time, don't forget!
