Users are now able to add a tax exemption ID to any quote created in the App and from the Quotes API. The change is applicable to all supported countries where tax collection is conducted.
Updated Zip Code Requirements in North America
In both the USA as well as Canada Users will be required to input postal codes or zip codes, respectively. This allows us to more accurately validate tax exemption numbers prior to the date when creating quotes. This change applies to both user generated quotes as well as quotes generated by users who are end-customers.
Extended Tax Exemption Support in Orders originated from Japan
Customers who sell within Japan are now able to input a JCT tax ID to B2B transactions. They will receive a 0% rate and report the tax directly under reverse change accounting.
