The artist and illustrator of Hamburg, Ines Hassler, more commonly referred to by the name of Frau Ines has a great time with the diversity of her art, her courage and the local artist community.

"Creative exchange, connections along with the sense of community which is a part that the scene offers are crucial to my work, and has affected my job," says Ines. That scene is located in Hamburg is an area of creativity , and it is run by Ines and the local group of artists. Hey Du the art store and Ines's tattoo studio. The store also offers Live Art Club that offers "cheerful and refreshing" drawing classes. "I would not be able to get to the position that I am in today if I was not at a sufficient level of openness to what the city and the community could offer me in the last few several decades," Ines says.

An artist who was thriving from a very young age Ines was able to explore a variety of different creative fields in her college years before settling in the field of design. "But after just a couple of years of working for agency work," she says, "I realized that the heart of my work was more on what I do beyond my hours of working for big companies and clients. It's the reason why, in the end, I made the step of starting my own company and turn into an full-time artist."

Being able to design is an incentive

"The diversification of my everyday life keeps me creative and engaged," she says. "The worst thing to me is doing the same thing repeatedly time. I love switching up my different tasks, working with different individuals, and working towards the same goals. It's like enjoying a pastime."

"But actually it's not always easy," she acknowledges, "especially in times of outbreaks or other times where deadlines of different parties are put in the same place. It can be stressful and, often, over the top. Now it's my job to discover a solution to bring be in harmony."

"In the end, the sensation of self-realization is an important factor" Ines adds. "Sometimes it's just a bit insane I'm able explain my work as a job. However, for me, it's much more than an occupation, it's a passion."
