Since she was a little kid the New Zealand-based designer and artist Evie Kemp was a lover of the arts and design. "I would be drawing all the time, redesigning my dollhouse, or watching room makeovers on TV." In her teens, Evie says, "I became really insecure about being  different, and would do almost anything to avoid standing out."

This desire to make a statement made her go to law school, but during her time in law school, "my mental health became worse," Evie says, "and I had to take the time off for six months. In that time, as I recovered I focused my attention on figuring out what I actually love, and chose to pursue a degree in graphic design rather than." Returning to the art she loved from childhood has had a profound impact on her. "It was in that way that I was able to truly discover my own voice--and embrace the many quirks I'd held away for years."

Since the moment she made that choice to concentrate on enhancing her abilities in a career she's passionate about, Evie's confidence and artistic voice has allowed her to build her own business. "I find increasing evidence that I'm more confident and vibrant and imaginative than I've ever been," she says. "It's similar to the old "Which was the first to be born, the egg or the chicken?' thing: I don't know if I get more secure and at ease in myself when my work is more exuberant, or if it's the other way around. I'd never say my style is "developed" but it's still developing."

Evie's fashion sense shines through her bold style, which is brimming with vibrant colors and mixed patterns. Read on for Evie's tips to build an online presence that reflects your voice creating an engaging content strategy, and then using it the power of multiple streams of income with ease.

Where and how to show on the internet is crucial to the growth of any creator or entrepreneur. In the words of Evie says: "For me, my web page and my social media accounts are my 'face. In the online world the website symbolizes me, and it must impress and convince others of my expertise."

The creation of a brand-new website that reflects you and what you offer is not just about having an identifiable brand can help your business stand out from crowd. It's also important to accurately portray your brand's style and to attract the types of customers, customers or audiences that are the most comfortable with you.

Design a website that's as useful as it is appealing.

Another must-have to have Evie is an announce bar which greets users on the first page on her website. "My site has a ton of content, so it's really good to instantly draw attention to certain things!"

It is a pleasure to know that these functions are only going to "take me a minute to add, but I want to ensure that my website is up-to-date functioning the best it possibly can."
