The month of January , 2020, Nia Pettitt set up her own Curl Bar that is the only salon that is specifically designed for curls. It's located in London. The concept behind Nia's Salon was not just about making the clients feel beautiful, appealing and attractive, but also giving customers to feel respected and welcome.

The path brick and mortar owners of businesses follow will lead them to the next step

Salons specifically for hair with curly locks was always an ambition of Nia's. "I often went to America for my hair's treatment due to the difficulty to find salons that were located in London or in London or the UK," she says. "I decided to create something that was safe as well as comfortable. It was an image of the thoughts I imagined in my head as when I was a child." Customers were enthusiastic about the concept. When they first open the doors of The Curl Bar the bar was quickly full to capacity.

"Your life will alter after you take the leap and launching your own company. Be sure that you're ready for the challenges." Nia advises aspiring business entrepreneurs. It was difficult to determine the kind of changes expected for Nia as well as Curl Bar. Curl Bar. Two months later, after the opening of this restaurant the establishment was ordered to shut down temporarily due to COVID-19 shut downs across the UK. The slight interruption to Nia's operations didn't hinder its performances.

"I didn't have any formulas for expanding the business or in the event that there was an outbreak" she shares. "I take every morning as an opportunity to gain knowledge and learn from." In the event that The Curl Bar was closed, Nia shifted her focus onlineand connected to stylists and her customers on social platforms until The Curl Bar could be fully operational.
