Website domains are the specific URL that you type into your web browser to open a particular web page. A website URL has a few parts:

Scheme or protocol

Subdomain

Domain name or second-level domain

Top-level domain (TLD)

Subdirectory path or Page URL

The majority of people have to look at your domain name, their page path, and TLD. Your domain name is your unique identification number for your website ("" for .com) and the TLD is the domain extension (like .com, .net, or .org), and the page path represents an individual page that you have on your site (like "/blog" in .com/blog).
