Let your clients have the products they desire through bundles of product

Nov 22, 2023

Provide your customers with everything they require to reach their objectives -- as well as boost your profits by offering product bundles.

Offer them a bundle.

Package two or more related items into a bundle that is priced lower than each product individually, and watch the sales increase, knowing that your clients won't be missing in any content they need to conquer their goals.

Your customers get everything they require, while you sell more products. Now that's a win-win.

Plus, makes it easy to sell and create products on your site. Here's how.

How do you create and market product bundles

There are two methods to market bundles of products :

Create and sell the bundle as a stand-alone item.

Offer a content bundle-based membership plan.

When you create a bundle, you're adding a brand new item to your site as a one-time purchase.

That product is made up of two or more of your existing products, like your online downloads, courses eBooks, webinar recordings. If customers purchase your bundle, they get these specific products.

This is how you can utilize the power of product bundles so you can give your customers the valuable content they need.

Step 1: Develop the product you want to sell.

Within the dashboard , navigate to"Products" in your dashboard. "Products" Tab .

For creating a bundle click "Create product" then choose "Bundle". Then, you can name your bundle and click "Create the product".

Step 2: Add products to your bundle

In the section called "Products," you'll see every product option you can add to your bundle. You can add or take products out of your bundle simply by turning off "Bundled".

Draft, pre-launch, and bundles by themselves cannot be combined with bundles.

Your bundle needs to contain at least two products before you can publish it.

Step 3: Set a price for your bundle

Next, click over to the "Pricing" tab.

The majority of bundles are sold at a lower price than if each product was bought separately. That's why bundles make your customers feel like they're getting a good deal as well as increase the average value of your order (AOV) through enticing them to purchase more.

Step 4: Create or pre-launch your product

Once you set your price, you can click "Publish". You may either make your bundle to offer it to purchase immediately or, if the bundle isn't yet ready for sale you can make it available for pre-launch.

In the event that you launch a product in advance it is possible to get email addresses from prospective customers before your bundle launches, then let them know when your product can be purchased.

If you want to publish your package in a matter of minutes, click on the "Publish" dropdown, and then "Publish".

Just like that you're live with your bundle!

Why would you want to provide product bundles?

You decide to bundle the products together at a cost of $60, which is less than the $70 total to purchase them individually.

When you bundle these products, you can provide your customers with everything they need in terms of content and tools they need at once. Bundle discounts can enhance your product's perceived worth  and make your clients feel that they're receiving an excellent deal, and thereby inducing them to purchase more.

Software engineer and teacher Reuven Lerner bundles his Python classes based on his levels of skill.

Reuven's Intro Python bundle includes $930 worth of material for just $800 or 4 monthly payments of $225.

"I'm planning to do something new this year: I'm aiming to make bundles of my classes, instead of selling individual courses. Therefore, instead of five distinct intro Python classes, I'll be selling the bundle as an introduction.
This is a bit risky, in that it means I'm not selling all of my products at huge discounts and instead only the products I've created. I'm hoping it will make it less likely that people purchase higher priced items."

Product bundling is a great method to increase the value of your order without offering a coupon code or other site-wide discounts that may harm your profits.

makes it super easy to make these product bundles. Ask entrepreneur Justin Jackson, who built his Bootstrapper's Bundle via .

Instead of needing to put together items such as his Bootstrapper's Bundle, which involves lengthy administrative tasks, "I can just pick and choose and then launch that."

We've already covered the reasons why you should consider offering product bundles. Let's go through what you should include in your bundles.

What kind of goods do you need to include in your bundle?

The different bundles are appropriate to different types of audiences, subjects as well as creators.

You could bundle the same kind of product, such as an assortment of webinars, or ebooks. You can also combine different products types that focus on one particular subject.

If you have a wide variety of downloads and content make your own "greatest hit" bundle featuring your top-rated products or create bundles that are tailored to different customer personas and needs.

No matter what kind of bundle you create, keep this tip to keep in mind: "When you try to mix a high-end product in a bundle with an affordable one, it can actually reduce the value of the more expensive product]".

In other words, don't offer a course worth $2500 as an add-on of a $10 ebook. It can make customers see the course as more valuable than if you sold it on its own.

There are three ways to group products together to make bundles that customers will appreciate.

1. Bundles consisting of one product type

If you've got a library of webinars or have a variety of templates, you might want to bundle similar types of content, like writer and coach Kate Brauning's Every Webinar Bundle :

Kate provides her clients with "every single webinar currently available for a single reduced price". She ensures that her customers are receiving all the writing advice and instruction they need, without having to worry about missing the webinars that Kate has curated.

Customers of Erin's get all their personal financial planning worksheets they need in one convenient bundle, so they're prepared for success by making just one purchase.

2. Bundles that are all-in-one

If you want to offer your customers access to everything you have to offer, you can create an all-in-one package that allows them to buy every single product at once.

Marketing guru Vanessa Ryan's Opt-in Buy My Everything bundle is exactly what you need.

Vanessa is offering her entire course, template, and digital download library at $399, or 12 installments of $39. With a whopping 27 products that are included, purchasing each product would cost customers over $3k.

As customers won't buy each of the 27 products by themselves making a one-stop-shop will let Vanessa offer all her items at a huge discount and still make more cash.

Bundles that are all-in-one are ideal if you are planning to sell memberships that give subscribers unlimited access to your content. Consider Whistle and Ivy's Endless Bundle, for examples.

At a cost of $87/year, the "All-Access Crochet Pattern Pass" gives subscribers:

The entire Whistle and Ivy pattern library

Full video pattern tutorials

Printables and Crochet designs

A crochet community that is likeminded.

Private VIP Facebook group

That's a lot of value at an affordable pricewith a nearly-guaranteed an annual profit for Whistle and Ivy.

3. Specific bundles for goals

The last but not least is to offer customers the complete products they need to achieve the desired goal. This can be done by constructing a bundle of complementary products.

It's one of my favorite use cases for bundles because you're making it easy for your customers to succeed in their goals, which means you'll positively affect more people while making more sales.

This is exactly the way Reuven Lerner has done with his skill level-based Python training bundles, which we've talked about in our earlier post.

Goal-based bundles can go beyond teaching a specific skill, nevertheless.

In order to help parents at home during the pandemic, art teacher Anna from Shiny Happy Art created a Kids Art Bundle :

The page on the product's website explains: "This bundle of 3 artistic activities will keep your kids (and adult!) amused and entertained at home. It includes 2 Paint Alongs and a Mini Wonder Workshop that can be enjoyed together or as a learning activity for kids."

Parents get 110 AUD worth of group products at just 50 AUD, and are able to meet their goal: to keep their children engaged.

It is also possible to make bundles that are focused not just on the goals your clients want to accomplish, but on the person who are trying to reach those targets.

Vanessa Ryan's Mompreneur Toolbox has been designed with a specific market in mind- mothers who are entrepreneurs.

The Toolbox of Templates contains ebooks, books, social marketing graphics as well as a brand-building board as well as slide deck. Each item in the bundle is designed to help Vanessa's customers reach their goal and promises "all the templates you need to build a cohesive and professional brand".
