Instantly connect your course to Your Community

Imagine that you're in a lecture hall where you're studying more about Georgia O'Keeffe from your Art History instructor. You're taking notes, you're drawing attention to certain parts of your text and jotting down your thoughts and ideas. As the lecture is finished your lecture is over, you gather with your fellow students and talk about the lessons you've learnt.

Ask questions, discuss your views, and take advantage of learning by listening to other's opinions, consolidating what you have learned from your teacher.

Imagine this happening on the internet. In addition to the video lessons that you view from your teacher, what is the most appropriate place to communicate what you've learned or ask questions on the subject you're struggling with?

However, it's essential to establish a strong bond between your school and the community so they're not just different jobs. They should instead be connected and seamless education experience.

Students today are able to easily connect to the Communities via the course with one simple click.

Course and Community Connection Course and Community Connection allows students to easily navigate the course to access a Space within the Community.

It's easy to connect by following these easy instructions:

  1. Create an account and click on Communities within the Control Learning Content.
  2. Open an existing Space, or make a new one.
  3. The Space Settings can be opened by pressing the gear icon. Settings by pressing the icon for gears.
  4. Select the course you'd like to be as a part of that Space.
  5. Make sure you update the space and then you're done!

Once the community is operational, students will be able to see an option on the Course Player that students can select for direct access to your Community.

A small but significant connection could result in a unifying student experience without distractions of social media. Make a place of interaction and knowledge your students will not be able to afford to leave out.
