How to get out of the craziness of coaching -

Jun 27, 2024

Most coaches I know have a feeling of being overwhelmed by all the things they have to accomplish.

The company isn't sure which of their ideal customers is.

There are way too many bargains.

They are trying too many ways to get interest and to make them look good.

There's no clear way to get people signed up for their programs.

They have too many programs that they need to join with elastic bands and zips.

They pour too much energy into their clients and eventually get tired, despite how much they want to coach.

Does any of this resonate with you?

Three different types of stress which I often see athletes suffering from:

A sweeping strategy

Client overwhelm

Systems overpower

Let's look at them each one at a.

Strategy overwhelm

When it comes to the strategy of a coach, they're often confronted with too many options and are performing numerous activities in order to try to gain interest or to get leads, and they don't always know which kind of client to target.

They're also unsure about how they'd like to sell to draw people to join their programs.

In the beginning you'll experiment. That's okay.

You're hoping you can nail those Five Ones.

Five Ones: The Five Ones say that if you are focused on...

One avatar

One source of traffic

One deal

One enrollment mechanism

The year that is about to begin

One million dollars in revenue.

If you've hit your million dollar threshold and have attained your million dollar milestone, do not even consider creating a second avatar, another website, a different advertisement or even an alternative enrollment mechanism.

Coaches who aren't making the amount of money they'd like to think that they could be should expand their offerings and services with additional avatars, new ways to connect with customers ... every move in their quest to increase their reach and increase the number of clients they can attract.

In the opposite actually the situation.

You need to narrow down. Be specific. Choose.

It's not about choosing the best option.

The key is to make a decision to make it the right one, and doing it.

There is a way to make them perform.

Pick one you enjoy Then, stick to until you've hit the million dollar mark.

I know how hard it can be.

If you have the proper supervision and mentoring You can absolutely get any of them to work.

If you've witnessed someone achieve success in this way, then it's possible.

Then it's a matter of working out the particulars.

Client Refusal

Coaches love their job and adore our clients, sometimes it can be somewhat overwhelming.

If you're performing a lot of one-on-one work with clients It's easy to burn out.

It's not uncommon to hear the exact same repeated over and over.

The energy is incredibly flowing from you during the course of an interview. You do not know exactly the source of it. It feels amazing!

You're disappointed because a large number of people aren't going to have the opportunity to take in your incredible account of your life with a one-on-one conversation!

Some coaches aren't doing the work with a one-to-one basis, but they're working on behalf of the clients. A done-for-you type model.

You are allowed to boost your prices in order to earn more as a coach, and perhaps you'll be able to take on less clients.

However, it's not scalable.

Most effective and scalable approach is to do group coaching.

Develop a program for groups that lets you interact with your customers at the same time.

The structure, the template along with live group coaching and as and a community.

You don't only get them and they also receive each other.

As the amount of clients grows and so does the efficacy of your service.

If you're currently not providing group coaching or if having a group coaching program isn't the mainstay of your company, it should be your most important goal and constitute your "One offer" within your Five Ones.

Systems overwhelm

Today, it's normal to use five, seven of these softwares to run your coaching company.

Website host comparable to Wordpress or Wix

Marketing software designed for email as well as an email service provider (Email Service Provider) comparable to MailChimp or ConvertKit

Carts for shopping similar to Shopify or Samcart

Platform for course creation or LMS such as Teachable or Kajabi

Video host like Vimeo or Wistia

Funnel software, or an online page creator like ClickFunnels or LeadPages

Software to support community such as Circle or MightyNetworks

Scheduler such as Calendly or SavvyCal

Survey Tools like TypeForm or SurveyMonkey

Tool to track affiliates such as Post or Tapfiliate, Affiliate Pro

Pipeline for Sales like Pipedrive or Close.com

CRM is similar to Hubspot or Ontraport

Zapier to join them all in!

There's a little overlap on this list as a lot of these devices do multiple tasks.

But then again, there exist other terms frequently used, and that I did not list.

The list could get quite lengthy quite quickly.

It's not just adding the cost of a month to an already high amount.

Furthermore, it can add a lot of additional work and the capacity of your mind.

First, there's the problem of fatigue from deciding on all of these possibilities.

In each of the categories listed there are many alternatives, and they each have benefits and drawbacks, as well as some that fall into multiple categories.

It is important to test the components in every one possible ways before making a decision on the one you'll choose and then determine what they'll do when integrated into other parts in your system.

It is then time to begin the procedure of integration.

Are they speaking directly to each other, or do you need Zapier for them to "zap" these two?

There's a second issue, and the connection is weak.

It's likely to fail, particularly in holiday season and it's on you (or your team, if you're one of them and if they can solve the issue) to fix it.

Then there's the mental strain switching between different programs, every one doing things slightly different.

It causes lots of switching between contexts, and it's necessary to alter your working style each few minutes.

If your company's logo is posted at multiple locations, it might be time to look for a better alternative.

With NO zaps.

The glue isn't there.

No rubber bands.

Everything you need to run your business all one place.

It's as if you've found your home across the frontier.

All of the components are able to communicate with one another easily.

Clients you've got on your database only need to fill in their details only once and then you can store it within the database.

Connect the option to them and make an appointment with you to talk about the strategy.

Easy. Clean. Simple.
