On the 17th of July in 2020, Jessica Wilson was diagnosed with stage 3 of breast cancer. She was aged 32 and didn't have a family history or the breast cancer gene.

"I am in the office of my doctor for my initial appointment and know that my doctor isn't someone who has the same desire to make me feel as alive as I am." Jessica remembers. "He showed up to my appointment 40 minutes late -- no explanation, no apology."

"Immediately my brain goes into self-preservation mode. If you do not appear to care if I live or die or if my health is yours to control ... It's time to have to change my ways. I instantly began to speak publicly in front of everyone who'd be listening to the doctor I was talking to, to my breast surgeon and anybody else who might say"This does not work on my behalf.'"
