The Construction of a Sales Funnel Using YouTube To Online Courses

Prior to when Jessica became an online course creator and instructor, she worked as a web designer freelance. While Jessica worked with clients, she had difficulty understanding how she could convert her freelance services into a lucrative business.

Her price increase brought higher-quality and experienced clients however, there was something lacking for Jessica.

Being a full-time consultant kept her on the phone of her clients - something she wanted to change after becoming a mom.

In recognition of the potential for online courses to make money for her YouTube viewers, as well as provide flexibility in time and locations, Jessica created her course in 2016.

Her first class was a great success and gave her a valuable lesson: the importance of building an effective sales funnel. In the absence of a real funnel for sales in place, she was unable to make her customers paying customers. "My first course launch was a total failure," Jessica shared.

When Jessica experimented with various sales and marketing strategies for her business, she was able to optimize her sales funnel to bring in revenues.

Four months later, Jessica achieved a five-figure launch for her online training. This was the turning point for her company. "I realized I could make more with online courses than I could servicing multiple websites back then. It really opened my eyes that I could really go full-force into creating online courses, and make more money and have more flexibility."
