Add Opportunities to Salesforce (or other CRMs) to facilitate Self-Serve Transactions on
Task to be completed: Your sales team wants to push self-serve transactions from your CRM to ensure they can see customer purchases in order to help them determine their upsell or upgrade plan for self-serve customers.
For our second example of this build, we'll be featuring a design by Fred Linfjard showing how you can integrate self-service transactions from your website with Salesforce in just a few minutes. The build will also show you an illustration of the way Zapier could be utilized to collect data using webhooks so you can then pass information on to another service Zapier can be integrated with.
For the second part of this build, Fred shows you how to utilize the trigger created in Zapier to detect webhooks, and generate records in Salesforce. Creating records in salesforce with webhooks allows teams to attribute sign ups and self-serve transactions to an opportunity. The result is one record for all business sales and they can use the records to help market upsells, upgrades, and upgrades to customers.
