Define your community's purpose and the reason they gather.

My community is called Conscious Collective is designed for those who are ready to embrace their potential and power. We recognize that we're all connected, and we're all together, and we bring this awareness to spirituality. There is training and the opportunity to challenge ourselves on mindfulness, meditation and personal development and a focus on making spirituality accessible to access, enjoyable, and accessible. The challenges, which are new to the system, as well as the Live Room, and the Leaderboard function.

How is your community structured?

Two main circles are within Conscious Collective for now. We'll expand as we grow. The majority of our activity takes place within "The Forum". This is for general conversation regarding all issues, debate conversations and share, and invitations to live events. Also, we have an "Spirit Market" group for members to showcase, purchase or sell their metaphysical artwork and other accouterments. Regular challenges, group meditations classes, as well as other events are all hosted inside The Forum / Live Room (which is so much more effective than Zoom!). The Forum is adding virtual coworking, art nights, and oracle evenings during the month.

I also use the new platform for my premium membership and for my VIP mentorship program.

Recent community wins

The community is really taking to the site. The members have been asking for events like art night, oracle night along with a number of other things, and want to be involved and even host.

The Leaderboard is awesome! Every month we offer a prize to the winner. Last month was a box of Onyx Coffee, one the premier coffee roasters across the US. It's not a huge giveaway however it does add some enjoyment to the competition, and is great for engagement.

Using the newest portal within lets our mastermind group expand to a completely new level. This allows us to praise each other up in contests, celebrate wins and make even stronger connections. Live calls and teachings is another great tool we use to maintain engagement.

A recent community win

The biggest win in the history of Stylist Soul Tribe this year was that we had 100 members within our mastermind community and is so thrilled to start Stylist Soul Tribe in January and increase its size! We have a vision casting workshop coming up where we discuss the mindset as well as vision work along with all the steps to success.

An idea I'd like to give you is to create space for your group to be creative. So many of the big concepts and innovations within the mastermind were generated by people in the mastermind. A lot of connections have come so organically by allowing an environment for them to happen. This has allowed me to use the tools to have a structure which is in place and runs smoothly to allow me to be as authentic as is possible to my fellow members.

Tell us about your community and why you are there.

The Kathy Keats Community is an amazing group of dog sport enthusiasts who understand that reaching your potential in dog sport (or any other activity) isn't only about developing skills, but rather about growth. Dogs aren't fools. Dogs are incredible mirrors that inspire us to be humble, test us, expose our flaws and inspire us to be more effective ... in their honor as well as for us and to those around us.

How structured is your community?

It's still an experimental stage of establishing the most effective format for my community. At present, I'm using (or is planning to use) it in three different methods: one as a supplement to online courses and the third is to provide a community of accountability that is supportive membership in its own right, and a third way is to use it as a place to connect with my listeners and integrate them into my ecosystem. I make use of a mix of live meetings and my Live Room feature and Challenges to keep my audience engaged and focused in classes. Also, I create weekly updates to my members of the community and am planning to start chats in the community area to determine what subjects and guests would interest people with my podcasts.

A top tip for all others Heroes

If you're planning to use community in conjunction with online courses, you should consider integrating the community area FIRST before the official course start date and engage your learners there with an opening week live event, competition or leader board scavenger hunt--because it's the place where the biggest learning curve is and then you can open up your area of instruction. This helps to avoid overwhelming and it's easier to link to the specific lesson in the class.

Recent community wins

The course that I just completed was a huge hit, due to the fact that a majority of my customers aren't technical however they were able to participate in live Q&A sessions because of the intuitive user interface. There was more live face-to-face participation in the online community than I've ever experienced with other conferencing tools because the technology wasn't getting out of the way.

Describe your community and why they gather.

My community, The Level Up Club is made up of individuals who are entrepreneurs, creatives and change-makers to gather and network with other like-minded people looking to expand to the next level, improve their skills and create a positive difference in the world.

What are the structures of your community?

I currently have 2 accessibility groups "The Community" which is open to anyone who wants to join, and "The Golden Circle Mastermind" which is my private mastermind group. There are five circles in my group; One community is to post general content, Bookish is for talk about books, and podcasting to be precise, for podcasters. Also, NLP and Hypnosis for people interested in discussing this, as well as one to my masterminds. The challenges have been great fun and my community loves getting involved. As of now, the challenge has been about getting to know each other in addition to the topics of mindfulness and health. Meetups are an excellent way to bring new people to the group when you share them through social media.
